We consider multiple factors and prioritize charities that provide solutions to the most pressing problems in each region. The nonprofit evaluation process includes legal, financial, and background checks prior to onboarding nonprofits on the platform. Foreign nonprofits are required to pass additional checks as required by the law.

Yes, you can make your donation anonymous by turning on the toggle at the top of the payment screen. That said, we at donut want to promote openness and encourage our community to share their donations with their networks to inspire them to join. Research shows that sharing your donations has huge benefits for the cause you’re supporting. We firmly believe that even a $1 contribution when donated openly can spark significant change. The feature is there for you, but we hope you prefer to donate publicly.
Every donation is final and not refundable. Once the payment is processed, we cannot return the funds to the donor according to the policy of Donut Charitable Fund.
While there's no limit to your generosity on donut, there is a technical limit per transaction. Currently, users can donate a maximum of $999,999 per single transaction. If you'd like to contribute more than this amount, please email us at donate@donutsocial.com, and we'll assist you in completing your generous donation.

You don’t need a password for the donut app. Just enter your phone number and the app will send you a one-time login code to access your account. You will remain logged in unless you manually log out and have to request the login code again.
